Course Details

BSW students are prepared to competently engage in generalist social work practice. such, it is our goal thatby completion of the program, students will be prepared to:

  • Use their liberal arts foundation and their understanding of bio-psycho-social-spiritual-cultural development to engage in evidence-based generalist Social work practice with individuals, families,groups,communities and organizations within a multifaceted society.
  • Practice according to the principles, values, and ethics that guide the social work profession.
  • Advocate for human rights and social and economic justice,Continue formal education in Post graduate social work education
  • Engage in research-informed practice and practice-informed research,Apply knowledge of human behaviour and the social environment.
